I saw his eyes: He was sad. Sad in a painful way, sad in a marvelous way. We started talking while I was thinking to myself I should not ask him why he was or looked like that; And I didn't. I didn't even when his mouth was moving as he spoke, full of words with a big and beautiful smile, that felt he wasn't smiling inside. That he was pretending.
It almost looked as if he was crying when he smiled.
I could not stand anymore and I hurried to touch his shoulder and stare at him trying to stay silent until a tear of his left eye started to cross down his face as he reached for me and hold him in a strong-breath-taking hug.
What a painful and beautiful crying he made. Almost as if he was told he had a disease or anything of that kind, almost as if he was dying.

Until that time, I have never knew someone that was as miserable as he.
And to be honest, I do not want to know anybody else.
